Well the Winter Music Conference is upon us once again.  Starting this Tuesday the 24th and continuing through the week, music lovers from around the globe will flock to South Beach in Miami to experience this annual much-anticipated event.  There are literally hundreds of great events by talented musicians, dj’s, and promoters being thrown throughout the week.  Check out the official list HERE.

Two events that we will DEFINETLY be at are being thrown by our friends over at Large Music, and by our very own Adam Auburn respectively.  Afternoon Delight was one of the most memorable parties of the entire conference last year, and is not to be missed.  Large Music has been throwing one of the best parties in southbeach for several years now, and has partnered with Outloud in 2009 to continue the tradition.

Thanks to all that came out this past Saturday! Joe came like a force of nature, bringing some tunes so fresh they had to be fedex’d in from the cutting plant the day of the show. As Joe would say, the dubplates were still dripping milk. Big hit of the night seemed to the cut “Period” by Rusko

Big ups to Deja for running the sound, he unfortunately wasn’t able to play as planned due to unforeseen circumstances, but we look forward to checking out one of his sets in the near future.

Sebby Fresco, perhaps the only dubstep producer in New Mexico, (Please contact us if this is not true!) gave us a taste of the southwest’s finest with a well received live PA.

Thanks to all the other DJ’s that played, and everyone that came out to support.

If you’re in London this Friday, the 1st of March, be sure to check out Joe at the DMZ 3 Year at Mass in Brixton! For a full schedule of shows check Joe’s Myspace.

Tomorrow night, Joe Nice invades New Mexico.

Here’s a little video to remind you what he’s bringing.

On February 23, 2008 Joe Nice will selectivly choose 10 inch dubplates for our thirsty hears. Most of of his selections are unreleased directly from todays leading and up and coming dubstep producers. Some of these dubplates will never see the daylight. Don’t miss this chance to hear the USA’s biggest Dubstep DJ. You’ll immmediatly notice his love for music, his flawless mixing and his explosive personality.

One of the first dj’s in America to begin experimenting with dubstep, Baltimore’s Joe Nice has played a key role in helping the genre reach critical mass on a global scale. Originally a Baltimore club dj, this self-described “dubstep immigrant” displays an on-stage enthusiasm for the music that’s contagious – his crowds go off the chain at every show. – Earwax.com

“The most famous American DJ playing Dubstep, Nice founded New York’s irregular Dub War club night, which has hosted performances by prominent British Dubstep artists such as Hatcha, Youngsta, Kode9, Mala, and Loefah. He performs regularly in New York, London” – Wikipedia

Bishie Bashie Business with Joe, freshly returned from his recent gigs in San Fran and NYC.

Our man Illkid recently opened up for legendary DnB stalwarts Planet of the Drums with much buzz and fanfare. Don’t miss his next appearance with Hive of Renegade Hardware later this month.

Hey folks,DAE & Sonic Soul are back at it again after a successful Afternoon Delight event last year @ The Marlin. However, this year they’ve teamed up w/ Basic NYC for a sunny & smoothed out day @ The Beach Plaza Hotel (Garden). At this event, we will be launching Dae Recording’s new sister label: Dae Deep which will showcase the more deep/vocal sound. Plus, there will be free ice cream all day long to beat that Miami heat! Stay tuned for more info on the Afternoon Delight event & forthcoming EP’s by Joshua Heath, weS!, & Schmoov! on Dae Recordings.

See ya in the sun!

A thread on the dubstepforum was started recently.

It’s all about “Lost Dubs”. All those tunes that should have been released, but for some reason — never saw the light of day. Needless to say, i’ve been taking suggestions and digging in the basement for tunes. If you’re new to dubstep….we’re going to school on this show. Class is in session. It’s gonna be a bit different than my October 2006 radio show. That was an “old school dubstep” show. This is all about “LOST DUBS”.

Listen this Tuesday the 16th at 7PM EST!
