Weekend Picks: DJ Heather comes to B-More
DJ Heather, another name on the long list of legendary DJs brought up by the great city of Chicago.
At the end of this year's Winter Music Conference in Miami the conversation with friends tended to revolve around what we liked best from the experience. We talked about the crazy times we had running up and down Collins Ave, how glad we were that we spent that day at the beach, how awesome it was to run into old friends, and inevitably how Heather changed everyone's life. A common theme: Bouncing off walls. "People were bouncing off the walls in there!" ... "She turned it out! It was a mad-house! I was bouncing off the wall!" ... "I couldn't even move in there and I didn't care. I just stuck to the wall... and bounced off it."
Well now our good friends over at ForQuarters are bringing this bounce-inducing DJ heroine to Charm City, this Saturday no less! If you were not one of the lucky ones to pile into Love+Hate in Miami in March, or if you were and you just want to relive the experience, you can't miss this night. DJ Heather plays this Saturday, December 17th at Red Maple in Baltimore.

Decisions, decisions. Great music going on this Saturday! ForQuarters brings their regular brand of booty-shaking house to Red Maple, SEE-I lights it up at Mosaic Lounge with some rasta flavor, and H Street holds their annual street festival in DC. If it were us, which it is, we would check out all three! Come down to DC during the day for some great music, and keep it rolling in Baltimore for the evening with these two great shows. Rest up on Sunday with bloody mary's at your favorite brunch spot. (We suggest Mama's on the Half-Shell in Baltimore or Kramerbooks and Afterwords in DC) Weekend, set and match. Reset for Monday.
