Ah Red Maple. A Baltimore staple. If you've ever been involved in any large degree with the electronic music scene in Baltimore in the last 5 years or so, chances are very good that you have either danced here, played here, or at least drank here. (I hear they have food also!) It appears that after a brief hiatus, the long running weekly dance party Moog is back at the 930 N. Charles Street lounge, and we're happy to hear it. Based on the lineup, we can say that this is sure to be a well attended evening of good friends and great music.
For the rest of the weekend? Fend for yourselves! It's time to check out some of the best places on the web to go for the latest buzz on whats going on!

Decisions, decisions. Great music going on this Saturday! ForQuarters brings their regular brand of booty-shaking house to Red Maple, SEE-I lights it up at Mosaic Lounge with some rasta flavor, and H Street holds their annual street festival in DC. If it were us, which it is, we would check out all three! Come down to DC during the day for some great music, and keep it rolling in Baltimore for the evening with these two great shows. Rest up on Sunday with bloody mary's at your favorite brunch spot. (We suggest Mama's on the Half-Shell in Baltimore or Kramerbooks and Afterwords in DC) Weekend, set and match. Reset for Monday.
What are you doing tonight?
We got two heavy-hitting events going on in the Baltimore/DC area tonight. For those up in B-More, don't miss the man Neil Kurland of Soul Mob Productions performing a marathon 5 hour set at Red Maple in Mt. Vernon from 9PM to 2AM. It's part of BIMAfest which is going on at the same time, and badge holders will receive FREE admission. Also, don't miss the BIMAfest after party at Paradox. Good times in the city that reads.
For those of us in DC, our good friends Jason Joseph and J Mack of For Quarters are back at the legendary Eighteenth Street Lounge for another night of gorgeous women and sexy house music. These guys never let down a crowd, and it's sure to be a fun night, not to mention the venue is one of the coolest around. Definitely not to be missed!
